“Relish this moment in My favor. It is your last.”
Six angels once sat at the right hand of The Almighty, but an ill-fated decision cast them out of Heaven. Now they serve Him on Earth, slaying demons for their redemption. They are…The Fallen.
Lucius, once revered at the side of God, fell to Earth with his brothers to pay penance and atone for his lapse in leadership. Wingless and forsaken, they have all paid a price for their complicity. Lucius’ hubris is now a curse, and he cannot rest until they carry out the last of The Almighty’s orders...and stop a war that has been millennia in the making.
Persephone Roberts is always in the right place at the right time, the serendipity allowing her to help people on her travels. When it leads her to cross paths with the band of hard-living fallen angels, she sets her sights on their leader, and is determined to restore Lucius’ faith in their quest. And in himself.
But the ancient evil the angels strive to fight has put Persephone in its crosshairs. It will be up to Lucius and his brothers to save her and destroy the minions of the dark. Can the amber-eyed beauty with her accepting heart heal wounds that cut soul deep, and force him to reclaim a glory he once tossed aside? Is he strong enough to realize the path back to Heaven begins with her, or will he be forever...fallen?

Lucius: The Fallen book 1 in the Fallen Series was an interesting and entertaining read. The plot and mythology was intriguing and the characters were multi-dimensional and believable. However, I didn't feel that the author provided sufficient physical descriptions of each character. Thus, I wasn't able to visualize each character the way I like to when I'm reading a story. The writing style was concise. The story was told from a narrative or third person point of view which worked perfectly for this story. There was action, adventure, and romance. The complexities of friendship, family, loyalty and betrayal were also explored. There were several emotionally stirring scenes. I actually felt some of the characters feelings of sadness, loneliness, despair and heartbreak. The love scenes merged seamlessly into the story. However, on the provocative scale I'd only rate them as mild. Definitely NOT the level of vividness or provocativeness one finds in the erotica genre. I'd categorize this book as one belonging in the New Young Adult genre. Overall, this was a fairly captivating story and I liked it. I do plan to read the next book in the Series.Product details

Lucius; The Fallen The Fallen Series Book 1 edition by Tara S Wood Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
Ok so I felt a little lost at times, like maybe there's something I should've read before this one. But the mythology is amazing, kind of combining different ones. Really good book.
It is a good story, and there's a good back story. Some scenes were steamy and we saw different peoples views.
It could have had a little more realism when Persephone found them. There wasn't really a shock factor.
But otherwise, not bad.
This story was not what I was expecting, but in a great way. Once the suspense and action started, the story steamrolls you to the end. It kept my interest and had me immediately look into the second installment to this series. Good plot and twist, and even though you can tell what might happen next, you get a little spin on with what comes after.
I'm going to give it a four star because of minor pacing and some scenes were somewhat forced with the instalove and sex scenes. Then, it was suppose to be the story about Lucius and the point of view should probably be in first person for some pages. And I think the book could've been extended just a tad bit.
But, over all those comments, I LOVEE IT!!! I give it a 4.5/5 star. I love the characters you developed throughout the story. The scenes were steamy, and it caught me by surprise that this is how they really act. Well duh, they're the fallen right? Very well written and I can't wait for the next one!!!
I totally Loved this book. It was intriguing, suspenseful, action packed scenes. The characters were fully developed and I cannot wait for each to have his story developed. The addition of the Greek myth immortals was a stroke of genius which added the spice for future surprises. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. No major flaws to complain about.
Once I started this book I couldn't put it down. It had a great pace, some dark elements, and kept my interest! It has been added to my "read again" list.
Great Book. I love the fallen Angel stories. They all have similarities but are told in different scenarios. I have already read the second now and can't wait to see if the other Angels stories are ever told the way Lucius and Jude's are. I would also like to hear the story of Khemery if you ever go that route. Keep it up. I will be watching for more.
